Divorce With Respect Week 2026: A Remarkable Fifth Season

Divorce With Respect Week 2026 Save the Date banner.

As Chair of Divorce With Respect Week, an initiative that originated from Collaborative Divorce California, I am grateful to see the impact our volunteers’ time and energy makes.

Indeed, it takes a village to pull off an initiative like Divorce With Respect Week (DWRW), and our Collaborative Divorce village showed up locally and across the country. Across the United States, volunteers, licensees, media partners, and local leaders made DWRW 2026 our strongest season yet.

The numbers tell the story

  • 20+ podcast appearances nationwide — an impressive earned-media footprint for a volunteer-run, week-long campaign.
  • 7 radio show appearances.
  • 2 extended morning TV appearances.
  • 46.25% increase in overall site traffic vs. last year — people are finding us.
  • 41.8% increase in California-specific traffic — our home base is growing.
  • 17 licensed groups participating (16 states + California): Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Washington, Florida, Illinois, Texas, Connecticut, Michigan, Tucson (AZ), Central Ohio, Memphis, Iowa, New Jersey, St. Louis, Cleveland, and Alaska — coast-to-coast coverage.
  • 10+ government proclamations secured — including Pittsburgh, St. Louis, St. Louis County, Longwood (FL), the entire States of Missouri and Florida, and four California cities. Official recognition amplifies our message.
  • Podcast clips edited for year-round reuse across regional markets — extending impact well beyond a single week.

Traffic and impact

Our web-traffic graph (Jan 1–Mar 31, 2026) makes the effect clear: a dramatic spike during DWRW, followed by sustained higher visits throughout March compared with January and February.

Media reach and longevity

Getting on podcasts, radio, and television amplified our message to multiple audiences. Equally important, editing podcast clips for reuse means our content will continue educating and connecting people long after the weekends.

Local leadership and official recognition

The proclamations and city-level support we secured shine a light on our work in a tangible way. A special nod to our small but mighty local advocates who made these recognition’s happen and shined a light on peaceful pathways through divorce.
